April 2nd is change date for our next raft of bus improvements :
What’s Changing?
44/X44/44A / X40
Yes the X40 express service is back !. Operating between Sheringham and Norwich the X40 will differ from the other buses on the route as it will operate on Norwich Road in Cromer up past the High School and then from Alby Horseshoes Monday to Friday run NON STOP to Hellesdon Tesco in both directions!
Weekends the X40 will also stop at Marsham and Hevingham by request. Please note the X40 does not stop or go into AYLSHAM – The X40 buses are additional journeys and not substitutes for the current X44 / 44A. We also have 3 new double deck buses arriving Early May to serve these routes. Watch out for Erin – Phoebe and Evie .
More Buses and Higher Frequencies on this popular group of Services and still with a maximum single fare of only £2 till the 30th June ! £4 for a day at the coast or to the City, WOW !!! not worth starting the car.
X40 North Norfolk Coast from Norwich in super fast time – Take a Day out to the Seaside !!!
Please note the 44A no longer serves Hainford village due to low trees damaging our vehicles – see service 43 for buses from Hainford Village – Service 43B will provide journeys from Hainford Village to Aylsham High School am and pm on Schooldays from April 17th.
42 Service ( Operates Monday to Friday only )
There will now be a peak hour service 42 journey in both directions Starting from Foulsham and entering Reepham on the B1145 you will need to join the service at any stop on the B1145 as it passes through Reepham and Cawston before heading via Eastgate, Haveringland and Felthorpe into Norwich. Far quicker commuter journeys – Another improvement delivered by Sanders working in partnership with Norfolk County Council.
43 Service
Revised timetable – don’t forget to see Service 44A for other buses through St Faiths.
Service 43 will be extended back to Foulsham on a Saturday to provide this village with a direct bus to Reepham – Cawston and Norwich via Aylsham.
Coasthopper 1 ( CH1 )
Great News the summer service will commence one month earlier May 1st and run 1 month longer to 31st October this year – make good use of it and hopefully this will become the norm.

We are very excited here at Sanders to be delivering these public Transport improvements . We hope you will find them useful and look forward to welcoming you aboard. Lets make them work for everyone including helping reduce this county’s carbon footprint.
We have invested heavily in ultra low carbon buses and coaches with 18 vehicles introduced in the last 3 years. We now need to see far greater use of the Services we provide to ensure we can take the next steps towards continual improvement.
