Norfolk Broads

The Norfolk Broads are a well known Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is home to beautiful rural, coastal and riverside landscapes. Each year, thousands of visitors come to the Broads and in summer the waterways can be very busy with day and weekend boats.

Sanders Coaches 6, 6A and X6 services stretch all the way across the Norfolk Broads from Cromer (on the North Norfolk coast) to Great Yarmouth (on the east coast). The service pauses at North Walsham, which is a handy central interchange point if you would like to join the service from Norwich by connecting from the frequent X55 service. Once aboard the 6, 6A or X6 you can explore all of the quaint towns and villages listed below plus many more.

Potter Heigham

Potter Heigham is a bustling Broadland village home to the famous Lathams discount store, which attracts visitors from far and wide. Lathams is at the heart of the village and the bus stops right outside; you will find everything you can think of at Lathams always at a great price.

There is a busy marina with plenty of boats for hire - but mind the bridge! Many boats cannot pass under the medieval bridge at the end of the village. Around the marina are a number of cafes and restaurants to relax in, all with excellent views across the river.

Stalham

Once a wooltrade town, Stalham sits in the far North of the Norfolk Broads. Today, it is home to a small high street with lots of independent shops and a busy staithe.

The Museum of the Broads is located in Stalham housing a collection of over 6,000 historical items from both Norfolk and Suffolk Broads including a unique Victorian steam boat with visitors can travel on.
