The Bure Valley Railway is the longest narrow gauge railway in Norfolk operating from Aylsham into the heart of the Norfolk Broads - Wroxham. It is a peaceful journey by steam train taking around 45 minutes each way, traversing pretty rural villages including Buxton, Coltishall and Brampton.

Once in Wroxham, there is plenty to see and do and some great spots for lunch before heading back on the train to Aylsham.

Check Bure Valley Railway's website for opening times and timetables, and for details of special events.

Sanders Coaches services 43, 44A and X44 stop right outside Aylsham Station offering an easy way to join the Bure Valley Railway from Norwich, Cromer, Sheringham, Reepham and Cawston. From North Walsham, join service 18 at the Travel Hub to be dropped off right outside.
